Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of software published by PnP Technologies LLC (“PnP,” “we,” “us”), including websites at pnpsaas.com and Mac App Store apps such as Family Finance Ledger. By downloading or using our software, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s Mac App Store terms and any in-app entitlements you purchase. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the software except as allowed by law.

2. Family Finance — Free and Pro

Family Finance Ledger may be downloaded free from the Mac App Store. Certain features require Family Finance Pro, unlocked via Apple In-App Purchase: Monthly ($0.99), Yearly ($9.99), or Lifetime ($39.99), as shown in the app. Subscription prices may vary by region and are displayed by Apple at purchase time.

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions may include a free introductory trial when offered by Apple and when you are eligible. After a trial, or when you subscribe, payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or the equivalent Apple subscription management UI).

Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase. Family Sharing may be available where Apple and App Store Connect settings allow.

3. Purchases and refunds

Mac App Store purchases (including Family Finance Pro) are processed solely by Apple. PnP does not collect or store your payment card details. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies.

For any non–App Store software we may sell through another merchant of record, that merchant’s checkout and refund policies apply; we only receive the minimum information needed to fulfill delivery.

4. Your data

Family Finance is offline-first: your ledger is stored locally on your Mac. Optional iCloud sync uses your private CloudKit container. We do not operate a Family Finance cloud backend that stores your financial data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our software for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to bypass App Sandbox, licensing, or security controls.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Our software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Family Finance helps you organize financial records but is not banking, tax, investment, or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PnP’s liability arising from your use of the software is limited to the amount you paid us for the software in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you only used free features).

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
